Photographer’s Note
This is laguna Azul, with the cloudy Torres in the background. I've have many issues with Cokin ND filters, mainly a strong purple tint especially on cloudy sky. ON different computers I have, the sky on this picture looks differently, although they are all calibrated the sam. No clue as on why. Anyway, if you do see the purple thing, it's because of Cokin.

Hi Dumitru
I like the wide angle and the inclusion of the horses as they laze around obviously also enjoying their environment. Wonderful scenery.
Cheers

Buna dimineata, Dumitru!
Ce contradictie intre pajistea insorita si linistea inspiriate de cei cinci cai si dinamica furtunii din spate. Foarte frumos surprins.
Numai bine

Dumitru,
Very nice shot, nice perspective with the wide angle and forground and background interest. The foreground is quite calming with the sun shining and the horses in the field in contrast to the imposing, dark mountains and angry clouds. I know the purple isn't supposed to be there but I quite like it!
TFS,
Richard.

Hi Dumitru:
My father-in-law had issues with Cokin filters--purple hue just like you, and I've heard the same thing from other people. They may have invented the Cokin-style filter holder, but their grads definitely aren't the best. I use Hitech filters myself. They're not the same quality as Lee or Singh-Ray, but they're less than half the price, and they're way better than Cokin. I wouldn't say that they're completely neutral, but they're pretty darned close.
Anyway, nice composition and dramatic lighting. I think the main thing I would change is actually not the filter color but the filter gradient. I'm not sure whether you used a 2-stop or a 3-stop grad, but I think it was too much, as the sky is disproportionately dark relative to the foreground. Other than that though, it's beautiful.
