Photographer’s Note

It was dark and I was setting up my equipment, hoping for a good sunrise on Pehoe Lake. I was concentrated and my hands were trembling with cold, and I did not hear this guy approaching... When he said "good morning" he scared me to death :) - I really didnt expect someone else was going to show up. And with 2 tripods, nonetheless :)
This is a picture of him, taping on a videocamera one of the most beautiful sunrises I've ever experienced.
I have to say that this was the 4th attempt to get a shot of a sunrise on Pehoe lake, all previous attempts failed due to fog and rain.... so if you go to Torres... be patient! :)

Hi Dumitru, this is just awesome. I can really tell it was a once in a lifetime sunrise and you have captured it superbly. The colours are stunnin and inclusion of the mystery videographer not only makes it more than just a sunrise shot and also gives perspective to the vast mountains in the BG. Congratulation, Lisa.

it would be a gorgeous scene without the photographer, but with it: it becomes a perfect TE-arthing report ;)
funny: those times and places we encounter folks with tripods.

so it's worth to wait there.. really great moment.. the place is already beautiful, and at the sunrise time you had captured the place great! and you are very lucky about the other photographer, because the human element gives a nice effect to this magnificant view..
