clouds and snow on mountains come together on the upper part of photo, dead woods pointing exactly that direction, pebbles around the land and water flows in between...
contrast of nature; white of snow versus black of mountain, white of clouds versus sky...

Andre this is a stunning photo, i love the cloud structure and the foreground detail has some superd textures & shapes that add depth & detail. I will have to visit this beautiful area.

Great choice to present this in monochrome - the heavy contrast and spectacular natural features really make the mood dramatic. The twisted stump in the foreground is very eye-catching. Well done, and happy New Year!

I find this image very satisfying as the foreground definition brings out all the values of B/W in the complete scene. The lighting is great and lends to a moody atmosphere in this wild, but beautiful location.

Hello Andre,
Absolutely superb composition which technically and creatively could be from a photographers text book. The twisted old tree and stone covered beach create excellent interest in the foreground, whilst the mountains and interesting sky provide amazing background. I really like the choice of B&W as it emphasises shape and form. Very well captured.

Andre,
composicao perfeitissima com o arbusto e tronco a direita abrindo a imagem e a dramatizacao ao fundo com Torres del Paine e as nuvens dominando a cena. Interessante opcao a usar uma versao P&B o que certamente abre memorias a mestres de fotografia paisagistica tal com Ansel Adams.
Em uma semana eu estarei do outro lado deste local. O meu acesso a Torres del Paine sera pela Argentina e El Chalten. As suas fotos sao uma verdadeira inspiracao para a minha viagem.
