Photographer's Note

A lone and rusty mailbox in Humberstone waiting for mail that will never come...
The site is well kept, and even though most buildings are crumbling and on the verge of rumbling, some key buildings (such as the theatre and the hotel) were restored not too bad.
I visited Humberstone twice - the first time I was there, I was alone in that huge void, the desert winds hauled in the background and the place felt eerie as a ghost town can feel...At a certain point I heard faint voices and found another couple of tourists. Both visits were chilling...
