Photographer’s Note
One of the spectacular views we saw in the Parque Nacional Lauca, which is one of Chile's most accesible parks. Aswell as birds and animals the park also has archeological landmarks. Lake Chungara which is one of the worlds highest lakes lying at the foot of the dormant twin Pallachata volcanoes is also found here. The parks altitude is well above 4000m in most parts.

Hello Wanda,
This image is different from what I am used to see in your gallery. It is a pretty view of this spectacular place. I notice some noise in the image but otherwise is a fine image. The vertical format increases depth and provide us a better perspective of this vast landscape. Good layering of colours from green to white also. Thanks Wanda.

I like the contrast between the fertile valley and the barren upper slopes of the mountain. There's good layering in the image too, with the transition from green to brown, white snow then blue sky and fluffy white clouds.
I'd have preferred to have seen a bit less sky and a bit more of the green fields at the bottom of the frame, but other than that it's well taken.
Cheers,
Ben

From the sky to the shadow of the clouds on the fields, this image gains my attention and my applause. You have captured this stunning view marvelously. Well done!

Hi Wanda,
wonderful, the patchwork is great and fine added in different layers of brown, white and brown and a top sky. The light play (or shadows) make this really rich of impressions.

Never seen this place in my pwn country. Very good work, both in photography and scanning.

Wanda,
the compostion is simply beautiful with a great scenery, but I was somewhat disappointed at the first moment. The light isn't very well balanced. The lower portions are to dark and asking for some PP, but than I saw that this is a scan and that might explain a lot. PP might be quite difficult with the sky already showing now some considerable noise.
I wonder how the original print looks like. Certainly much better!

Hi Wanda,
Indeed an interesting patchwork, that makes a nice contrast with the aridness of the BG. I like the pattern and the way the play of light and shadow on it. I like also the layered compo, with those 4 distinct layers, 3 on the ground and the one of the sky. Interesting how the clouds seem to mimic the snowed peaks symmetrically.
