I will post some photos following the hour it were taken
About Cejar Lagoon
At about 30 km approx. from San Pedro de Atacama is Cejar Lagoon, a salt lake in the middle of the dessert, surrounded by yellow grasslands and the Andes Mountains
The most beautiful, the multitude of colors that were appearing, changing from minute to minute at sunset, along with the fantastic reflection in the lake of salt
There was not sun when we arrived, so few reflections, the driver began to prepare drinks (pisco souer) and told us not to worried, it was winter and he was sure that a great spectacle was going to appear at sunset
The salt flat encompasses 3,000 km2 (1,200 sq. mi), is about 100 km (62 mi) long and 80 km (50 mi) wide, which makes it the third largest in the world, after Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia (10,582 km2 (4,086 sq. mi)) and Salinas Grandes in Argentina (6,000 km2 (2,300 sq. mi)) Its average elevation is about 2,300 m above sea level

An interesting note about the salt-lake in Chile, Maria, and the pic. was done well even when it was mild light over.
With the silhouettes of the Andes on far, we can grasp how big the place is. Also, i assume that every hour the colors would show great changes in tone's. Waiting for the following one.
Never loose a camera card again.

I like very much the minimal and eloquent description of your photo. I love the smooth, pale tones interrupted by the contrasting tones and textures signifying land. The standing structure is well placed in the frame so as not to disturb the harmony. The dim view of the distant mountain range is captivating. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

Super calming image, such a peaceful setting. The little structure adds a lot to the overall composition. Nice one!

Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah I'm very much familiar with the effects and appeal of such waters. In fact, I was just there last week. This looks to be very much the same terrain and could even easily be mistaken for the same place. :) I really like how you've set this scene...simple and compositionally sound to present the desolate nature of the landscape with pleasing layers and soft light. Reflections are always a fun effect as well. Thanks for sharing the view and information regarding this region. Have a great weekend.
All the best,

Your keen observation has spotted this potential of making successful shot but sincerely, I thought this is lacking a main point of interest and unfortunately it is too fussy for a main subject on its own, some strong foreground or the sky interests needs to be added without that there at present. The second thing is that the reason of picture is a little bit lost in the overall vision, loosing strength. I would also suggest to increase also the saturation of the color as the overall result is not really appealing to make the picture stands out from the settings. Hope my points are acceptable to you and hopefully it helps, tx for sharing

I like the composition--so simple yet powerful. It may look lonely place but actually it's not, it's very alive. Good pov and dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.

Ciao e buona domenica
