Photographer's Note

Here I am showing another old shot I did when I was in Chile. I had took a tour to see the sunset in Valle de La Muerte, after to know some natural landscapes in the zone we waited the last rays of light in the top of a giant dune while the sunlight was playing with the desert, swapping its colors. Here we can see the slopes of the area and, in the background the giant volcano, LICANCABUR, with 5,916 meters altitude. This volcano is the borderline with Bolivia, located in the other side of it. This region was part of Bolivian territory when it was took by Chile during the Pacific War, at the end of 19th century.
