Photographer’s Note
How I told you before, in the ancient times the waters of Todos Los Santos lake went to Llanquihue lake but an eruption of Osorno closed the route and the waters were obligated to find another way, creating these rapids. Llanquihué lake is located in the other side of the volcano while Todos Los Santos Lake is located not so far at right this view.
...................................................

Hello Jorge,
the colours of your picture are just fantastic, the sparkling water is almost as white as the snow on the top of the mountain, the blue tones of water match the sky. Really cool image - in the right sense of the word - I would not like to fall into the water really :-)
Bravo
Best regards

Neyvan

Jorge,
Wow, this is a fantastic shot. Perfect sharpness and clarity. I love the composition of this one with layer of rocks in the power rapid river, leading to the forest and to this stunning view of the snow covered volcano. All elements is perfectly placed in the right locations as if you planned it all along. I have considered going to Chile, but not too seriously, now I have to really consider it. My best complements and regards. Thank you so much for this amazing shot and thanks for your visit to my gallery. I will put you on my favorite after this one.

Excelente foto.
um abraço,

Hi Jorge, this looks like Mount Fuji. Did you also shot this at slow shutter speed? the effects of slow shutter on the water would have been nice

hi Jorge,
this is really great, I like a lot the combination of snow-capped volcano and white rapids in the foreground, that's a strong illustration of the power of nature. stark beauty in this scene, I hope some day I get back to Chile and have a chance to visit the Lake region.
best,
Kristine
