Photographer’s Note

I spent many time in this large urban park located in front of the Reloncavi bay. It is a beautiful area, where the city of Puerto Montt can enjoy its sea. There are many people there and, of course, many lovers. This couple was trying to solve some problem in their relationship, they weren't smiling. The level of the sea is located around 15 meters bellow the place where the lovers are. I hope you liked this minimalist scenery.

..................................................... Gastei um bocado de tempo caminhando pelo longo calçadão localizado diante da baía de Reloncavi. É uma área muito bonita, onde Puerto Montt pode desfrutar do seu mar. Como seria de se esperar, é possível avistar inúmeros casais de namorados por ali. Este aqui estava com algum problema no relacionamento já que não havia sorrisos. O nível do mar se encontra cerca de uns 15 metros abaixo de onde os namorados estão. Espero que gostem deste cenário minimalista.

How simple, but how beautiful. Two elements and an open sea, you really caught these two in a perfect setting. Without the lantarn it would be just nice, now it brings great balance in the composition...truly a wonderful shot.

Just 2 of them. Simple yet nice view of the space. I wonder the 15m sea below is splashing up waves when stormy weather and rough sea? Great shot.

Olá Jorge,
O ar romântico é muito bem acentuado pela compo singela e pelo quase vazio da vista. Apesar desse vazio, apetece apreciá-la longamente. O candeeiro está muito bem colocado.
De certa forma complementa a outra, das estátuas, que em vez de romântica é muito melancólica e simultaneamente épica.

Hi again,

this is the second one... It is completely different from the first one but it has one most great value: feeling. Background as a view of sea horizont in wonderful nostalgic blue tones is perfect for this isolated couple that seems to be in their own world, just for each other. The lamp perfectly balances them and gives a comforting message that when the dark comes its light will warm the couple. Beautiful shot, very quiet but very powerful.
