Photographer’s Note

This photo was took in Angelmó, the most famous tourist place in Puerto Montt. There are many restaurants there and when I arrived the luch time was over, anyway there were many women asking for costumers. I saw this Lady watching people in the port. I think her sad eyes are showing a kind of melancoly, some sad memory brought by the view of the people in the port or by a hard moment in her life. You will see what she was watching in the next 2 posts.

Esta foto foi tomada no Angelmó, o mais famoso local turístico de Puerto Montt. Existem muitos restaurantes por lá e quando cheguei a hora do almoço já havia passado há muito. De qualquer forma havia mulheres chamando clientes para seus restaurantes. Eu vi esta senhora olhando para o que acontecia no pequeno porto de passageiros. Seus olhos tristes mostram uma melancolia, uma tristeza que pode ter vindo à tona por aquilo que ela estava vendo a sua frente ou então por algum problema na sua vida. Vocês poderão ver aquilo que ela estava vendo nas próximas duas fotos que eu postarei.

I agree her eyes look melancholic...who knows what she was thinking about...maybe she was just saying:"oh I'm so hungry i'd eat a cow...". I'm just kidding!!

very nice wall.. especially its color ofcourse.. the woman and her mood fit well with the composition.. your POV and sharpness are very successful too.. i wish you would crop the left part of the image.. i mean the door i think it's seen a bit..

hi Jorge,
how much time did you spend looking for such a colour? :) crazy pink, that's the only thing I can say, especially together with the purple tableclothes seen through the window and woman's red apron. crazy! :))) and that's the reason I like this photo a lot, the psychodelic colour combination and the resigned look on her face create a striking combination. this is very well seen and presented.

O registro está excelente e acho que em Puerto Montt, quando os dias ficam nublados, frios e escuros, aumentam a tristeza das pessoas que por algum motivo tenham problemas!

Muy bonita Jorge, me gusta mucho lo que hiciste en esta foto, la pose de ella el angulo desde donde lo tomaste y los colores son perfectos.

Me gusta ademas el cristal aqui por que nos deja ver mas alla, podemos imaginar y sonar.

haha, esta está muito bem apanhada, Jorge. Excelente ponto de vista e muito bom enquadramento da janela na diagonal da composição. A fachada com esta cor forte também oferece um grafismo interessante incluindo o detalhe da saída de fumos que até é um pormenor engraçado. Gost muito desta cena do dia a dia.

Nota-se que vc andava antenado em tudo que acontecia por lá. A imagem ficou algo poética, daquelas com significado por muitos anos.
