Villarrica Volcano's summit has an elevation of 2 847m. It is easiest to reach via the Villarrica ski area. The climb can be arduous depending on the condition of the snow through which one must trudge.

Hi Kevin, this is a thoroughly enjoyable photo! Not just a snapshot on the go, but a thoughtfully composed picture. The curve-like formation of the crater edge (if that's what it is) leads the viewer beautifully into the scene. Excellent work.
