Photographer’s Note

This is a view from Puntiagudo volcano ( 2190 meters altitude), it is located between Todos Los Santos Lake and Rupanco Lake. It is a very old volcano, its outside top was demolished by erosion while the hard magma became there creading its sharp sillouete.

Esta é uma vista do vulcão Puntiagudo (2.190 metros de altitide), está localizado entre os lagos Todos os Santos e Rupanco. É um vulcão muito velho e a parte externa do seu cone foi erodida, restando apenas o interior onde o magma endurecido resistiu à erosão, criando sua silueta pontiaguda.

Uma bela aproximação deste Vulcão, meio diferentão, né?! Lá naquela região, ele também é visto de quase toda parte, mas não cheguei a vê-lo de tão perto!

Gosto das texturas geométrica craidas pela zona mais escura da montanha, da neve e do céu. A combinação de todos criou uma foto muito equilibrada.

The beautiful and can be powerful. Such a mejestic image of the Puntiagudo Volcano. Technically very well captured with good sharpness and color. Composition is also very good, very nice and natural color, not overly saturated or contrast, just right. Really good one. May be present it at the maximum size this site allowed could make a strong impact even. Thanks for posting and your nice comments.

É linda essa região, né? Interessante também as formas pontiagudas das montanhas, bem diferentes das nossas arredondadas. A foto está linda, com cores igualmente lindas.

I like this one also. Great pose, great composition. but I don't like the white framing, I suggest the black framong as it shows more details....

Hello Jorge,

This is an interesting volcano where the shape differs some from the usual cone!
A fine composition where the simplicity is striking, very attractive colour palette dominated by white and blue...
