Photographer’s Note

The next day after driving up the coast with the germano-chilean lady, I was really lucky, because I me these two travelling salesmen from Puerto Montt who sold products to hardware stores, they were doing sales calls in manyvillages which interested me, so they offered to take me along.

This is a viw over the town of Achao, which is sittin on a small Island connected to Chiloe by a short 10 minute ferry ride.

hola daniel, patagonia sounds to me a sort of mystic, and most remote;
i apprciate this shot very much - composing in this way you give us a gerneral overview of that land; nice shot;

Hi Daniel -very fitting comparison, the foreground definitely looks something out of the british/irish coast, what a wonderful view (or viw :-))), but the hazy majestic Andes in the distance puts it firmly out of Ireland

Indeed, this beautiful landscape could easily be Ireland. I also love Chile for the diversity of the landscapes... from north to south you really have a feeling like you are in a different country.
Very nice wide view perspective and good colours.

Composición muy bonita. Me gusta mucho. LA montaña a la derecha y el resto fijando hacia el fondo me parece un gran acierto.

Los colores y la definición están muy bien logrados.

I think I remarked about how similar this landscape is to Europe. In one of your previous shots I saw England, here its Ireland. Love the lushness of the green and the deep deep blue. A continenent I desperatelty want to see for its mindblowing beauty. Photos like that just fuel that wish.

Hi Daniel,
Well composed and very alluring. The scene resembles a painting, partly because of the horizontal lines in the water in mid-frame. I like the POV and the way the little headland angles into the scene. The far peninsula acts as a divider and creates further points of interest. Very well done, Daniel.
