Photographer’s Note

How I told you before, it was a sunny Sunday after a stormy Saturday. I was walking in the banks of the lake, waiting for the moment when the last clouds were gone, showing me the marvelous view from that famous volcano. While I was waiting I did this image, showing that the last rains had put the level of the lake a little up.

Como já disse antes, era um Domingo de sol depois de um sábado chuvoso. Estava ca minhando às margens do lago Villarrica, esperando o momento em que as últimas nuvens me deixassem ver o famoso vulcão. Enquanto esperava, tirei esta foto, mostrando o nível do lago um pouco acima do normal depois da chuvarada.

What a peaceful landscape this is. No hint here that there had been a heavy storm the day before. Very pleasant to look at. Very natural. Nice!

beautiful landscape photo, Jorge, I like a lot the fresh and clean colours, the place does look as if just washed by the rain. the red boat in the distance is a great accent, smart idea to include it to make a photo even more interesting. very well seen and presented, my compliments.

Hi Jorge, I like this simple but effective composition. What makes it special is the clear light - not surprising perhaps, after the rain you mention. The sharp outline of the mountains is also pleasing. Good work!

O contraste entre esses três níveis (mato no FG, lago e altas montanhas) ficou uma beleza, com uma linda visão da natureza.
