Photographer’s Note

Here we can see another view form Huerquehue National Park. I had climbed a very good amount of that mountain and I found this place where I saw this marvelou view. This lake you see is located at entrance of the park, in the left corner you can see the road where I walked to reach the forest and a piece of planted forest, this area was destroyed by fire some years before. In the central area of this image we can see a Coihue, the most usual tree in the lower area of the park.

Aqui temos mais uma vista do parque nacional de Huerquehue. Eu já havia subido um bom bocado da encosta quando encontrei um mirante que dava para o lago. Aqui podemos ver o lago que fica junto à entrada do parque, no canto superior esquerdo aparece a estrada que cruzei para chegar à floresta e uma área de pinheiros plantados que foi destruída, anos antes, pelo fogo. No centro da foto aparece um grande coihue, que é a árvore mais comum na parte inferior do parque.

Realmente, uma vista maravilhosa... todo aquele verde escuro (musgo) contrastando com o azul escuro do lago lá em baixo!

hello Jorge,
breathtaking view indeed, I like a lot the strong triangle of the river that seems to be forcing its way into the forest. smart use of the foreground to create depth to the scene, and I quite like the dark silhouette of the tree to the right, I find it nicely frames the scene. I seem to detect a slight blue cast, but that's a minor point. excellent photo, my compliments.

O lago é de um azul impressionante. Ficou parecendo uma pintura . Assim vale a pena o sacrifício de desbravar montanhas e florestas.

The scenery is pristine, and with good detail, I wish the angle was wider to show more of the landscape, trees were probably blocking the view.

Eu estive realtivamente perto desta área quando visitei o Galciar de São Rafael. É uma região maravilhosa pela beleza natural e pelo estado de conservação que mantém.
É uma foto muito bonita na qual a árvore escura da direita contribui muito para a ideia de distância. Gosto muito.

A nice aereal landscape from the national park viewpoint. The lake is well placed in the frame - and the colors are nice.
