After a long break, I'm back! Maybe this will be a little irregular but I've wanted to get back into TE for a long time.

While waiting for a connecting flight to Brazil in the transit lounge at the airport in Santiago, Chile, I noticed this cross on a hill in the distance. Unfortunately, going outside wasn't possible so this photo was taken through the window. This was my first time in South America so all this scenery was new to me.

Although I couldn't see a lot the small amount I could see, and the lovely nature of the few people I met, was enough to make me want to return to see more some day.

Modifications prior to posting were an increase in contrast to reduce the effects of atmospheric haze followed by a decrease in saturation to keep the colours looking natural and as close as possible to the original image.
