Photographer’s Note
This is one of the Transandean roads crossing from Chile to Argentina across Black Water Pass (4779m)
That would be probably one the roads with the highest difference between lowest and the highest points, when you climb so high in such a short distance.
The difference in temperature was on the day we travelled 31 degrees.
The distance between La Serena (sea level) and the pass is only 200km, but you climb vertically nearly 5km.
Maybe there are other roads with similar or higher ratio, please let me know.

Hi Rafel,
lovely, well composed image with great depth and sharpness and I love the saturated sky, it makes a fine backdrop, a superb shot and well captured.
