Photographer’s Note

This is how the Dichato Bay looks like any given day! :-)
My parents live here, just 40 km from Concepción, and I am lucky to see these sunsets every time I go back to Chile.

Hi Jorge,
Intensive red sunset glow. It's really impressive when last sunrays hit the underside of clouds. Good high viewpoint shows reflections from water too. I think high contrast works well making mainly three color black, white and red composition.

The clouds are amazing here it looks like fire tendrils from volcano.

Jorge,
I'm not sure if you already did it or not, but I think this shot should also be incorporated to your "underated pictures" file. It is a fantastic photography and everyone could be proud to have it in its own collection - at least I would be. However, and that might be part of the problem, I have the impression that you probably got carried away during the PP. The lower portion of the shot, mainly the colors of the water is overly done. It looks somewhat gimmick.
Still, I love the shot!
I hope everything is going fine with your daughter, wife and naturally your well deserved nights of sleep.
