Photographer’s Note

The 168-metre high Italia building was built in 1956 and named after the Italian immigrants that helped construct it. For a long time it was the highest building in São Paulo, but has now been overtaken by other fast-growing buildings in the financial area of the metropolis. Visitors can take a lift to the bar on the top floor and enjoy the impressive view of the city over a drink.
