Photographer’s Note
This is a "carioca" scene taken at the present time, but it has a sort of past and nostalgic feeling of the bohemian times. I've always wondered why present and urban picture doesn't seem to deliver as much power as the old ones, and I guess, before, we were not so much overwhelmed by brands and advertising, so pictures used to look visually cleanner. and this one gives me that feeling. Even the little boards hanging on the wall are hand made.

mesmo se a nitidez nao é usual nas suas fotos (que pena) essa foto é bem nostalgica.Adorei ! e so um outro carioca entende !

there is indeed a flare on the subjects, maybe due to the compression or your pp, that gives an air of older times;-)

Powerful moment Bruno. The gesture of the two men to the right, the hat... everything work, and reading your note I do agree, it has a kind of old feeling althought I think what makes the old photos look like they do is, in my opinion, the pass of the time that change our perspective as well as will happen with all this images we put here, I wonder what will think the people 50 years onwards. Congratulations from Madrid, Bruno.
