This is the view of Paraná coast line from Estrada da Graciosa (Graciosa Road). This is a must stop point not only for the sightseeing but to eat the famous and very brazilian Pamonha (salt or sweet worn out corn, wrapped in corn leaves and then cooked). Tasteful!

Tech note: sorry not to follow the rule of the thirds at this time. Rules are to be broken...sometimes :)

from the very bottom of my heart, friend, i forgive you... :)) for breaking that RULE. i think i can see why you did it: you didn't wannt to miss none of the cloudwork and none of the foreground. would be destructive, wouldn't it? :) i like the sight and will try to remember your note when i get to Parana coast one day ;)

with warm regards,
kristaps

Hi Carlos,
Amazing view with equally amazing clarity and colors. I agree that the rules are sometimes meant to be broken.
Mike

Hi Carlos,
The vegetation is quite similar to that found in some hilly areas in my country. Nice atmosphere & great mist in the valleys. I like the yellow/golden colors of the clouds. Regards. Latiff.

Boa Tarde Carlos!
Neyvan

Hey Carlos,
A lovely shot with splendid colors and good contrast. I love the texture of the clouds. Excellently composed shot with perfect sharpness. Congratulations!!!
Greetings,
Natasha

Hi Carlos,
A nice view and to me it looks just good on the composition, so whi gives a f*** about the composition rules.
The second layers of cloud seems to have a strong yellow toning inside, but it could also be the haze above the ocean. Anyway, i like the composition and the strong colours you used here...very nice.
Regards, Henk

hello Carlos
there is no rules ,except this one you have in your mind, and in your eyes! Here,it was impossible to choose between the nice lightened foreground and the beautiful cloudy sky! Both are making the beauty of the photo,it was the best way to do it!
Regards.

Carlos,

Ola Carlos,
Great POV here with the coast and these peninsulas in the sea... Nice luminosity and colors with sharp details. An interesting tip in your note!
Parabens

Carlos,
Depth is superb here.
This sky is great, and the way you composed the picture, with great landscape too, is very pleasant.
Regards,
JB.

Oi Carlos,

Abracos,

Flavia

Ola Carlos,
Wonderful shot! Very beautiful colours, good sharpness and superb sky...
Have a nice sunday.
Ahmet

Ola Carlos.
You used a very good POV ti have this great depth, the front part has a little more light and makes more beautiful.
Best wishes.
Vangelis

Bomdia Carlos

Bonsoir Carlos,

Hello Carlos,
This is a fine point of view, from an elevated point inland to the distant sea!
I notice how the shimmering water stands out in the backlight, and the frame has good focus throughout...
Attractive colours, the foreground interest adds to the sense of depth!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hejsan Carlos
to start with ... there is no rules.. just a manual for them that haven't skill to take good pictures by there own judgement.
So you don't need any rules... just keep on taking good pictures..
Here I like the correspondence between the clouds and the water and the tree canopy POV that make me feel like a Tucan.

Excelente foto, Carlos.
Zeca

Olá Carlos,
too bad that you did not follow the rule here :-)
Interesting view with the deep valley, the water and the structure of clouds here. The good strong green in the foreground is pleasant and I like this one.

Ola Carlos,
nice composition with a great perspective and POV.Excellent the depth of the field as the view of Paraná coast line.As you write the rules are made to be broken and the rule of thirds is not panacea.I like the combination of the endless sky and the infinity of the earth.Informative your note.

Regards,Danos

hola amigo,
the vast verdant green is well seen intermingling with the blue cloudy sky. it gives the feel of contentment for anyone having a stop here. rules are rules, sometimes it pays to break some...at least here, no bailbonds needed, only inactivation!..:-)). the composition is just fine, perfect.
and i would like to taste a piece of Pamonha one day.
cheers,
Benedict

Peter

Rules are there TO BE broken, my friend! Specially when we're talking Art!
Wonderful shot, Carlos, truly wonderful.
The depth of field is simply huge, and light & colors are awesome. GREAT JOB!
And thanks for passing by my "When The Going Gets Tough". I greatly appreciate.
Well, time for a beer!
Have a wonderful day, I'll see ya soon.
Cheers,

Fulvio.

Hi Carlos,
Wonderful sightseeing. It's breathless.
Of course, the light on the leaves and on the clouds is an important element. But the depth of field is excellent and it is the reason why we can appreciate such a beautiful landscape.
I am glad you decided to break the rules : your composition is perfect as it is.
Regards,
Marianne

Carlos,
Raimundo

It's absolutely stunning view Carlos. This is so far from me, but it reminds me hills of South Poland :) Beauty line of clouds. How for me composition in this case is perfect!
Cheers!
Maciek

Ola my friend,
AN amazing photo taken in an artistic way
with pretty colours,and clouds running
into the sky.Nice capture of that moment
like a postcard
Thanks for sharing

Hi my friend,
yes, it's true. Rules are made to be broken soemtimes and here you did it well. Wonderful vivid colours and great view over the horizon, with the clouds giving depth. Beautiful shot, as always!
Take care,

Igor

Hello Carlos. You are right about the resemblance. I can fool anyone here that this is Malaysia if not for the tag. Nice sun spot on the foreground capturing the beautiful view down there. Brilliant sky and I like this. Well done and best regards. Jusni

Hello Carlos,
It is all right to sometimes break the rules especially when the result is as nice as this one. The depth evokes a great sense of space and distance. Natural colors and sharp details are excellent. The sky and clouds are perfectly beautiful.
Warm wishes,
Betty
