Campeche beach and island

Florianópolis, paradise on Earth, is located in the state of Santa Catarina, in Southern Brazil, between the cities of Curitiba and Porto Alegre. Florianópolis is connected to the mainland by a bridge, which allows easy access to the rest of Brazil and the neighboring countries of Uruguay and Argentina. You can enjoy all the pleasures of a subtropical island without being far from the mainland. There are 42 beaches around the island, each diverse and unique in it’s own way, and all within a short distance from the downtown center.
Sheltered somehow from the mass tourism, the Southern sector of the island is one of the most beautiful and pristine regions of Florianópolis.

I’ll try and post some oldies now and then. This is from pre-digital times, when I didn’t know much about photography. In hindsight, I realize how digital photography represents an opportunity to learn-by-doing, much more cost-beneficial than film.

I'm reposting the photo since the problem with the graininess of the scan was fairly well addressed after a Neatimage treatment.

Hey Victor,
whats up, U got a nice shot, very well framed picture awesome colors around the frame the blue sky getting merged in the sea. The rocks on the left side are properly balanced with the mountains on the right frame. the big gray rock looks awesome as u got awesome shades of gray in that. really nice.

I like your photo construction with good foreground on the rock to bring depth, the island far away in the background. Good proportion with the large place left to the sky.

passei por este lugar num dia de mar agitado e tempo cinzento, a paisagem já era deslumbrante. Aqui a luz e as cores estão maravilhosas, belíssimo pov. o enquandramento das rochas em primeiro plano e a ilha ao fundo é perfeito

been there in 1986 I enjoyed the beauty of this island and the beaches (near the university). Great place to be, well captured, excellent foreground..
