a man from Brazil Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is my final shot of this man, over almost 20 I took from him. He could be jamaican, somehow, he could be african, arab, indian, afro-american, Santa-Klauss Land, anyway, what I like about this shot aside of the man himself, is the flag behind him that tells to anyone where he comes from. Faces... we will never know his name, his story, his yesterday nor his tomorrow. He will remain here, a time frame held, a saturday morning in Rio de Janeiro.

parece uma figura saída de algum daguerreotipo ou de algum álbum do Marc Ferrez lá do século XIX...

Experimenta converter isso para sépia...

Your picture is nice, as well as your note, but further more than a flag, what I like is the words "orden e progresso" behind a man which seem to have some needs. Ironic to me... Congratulation, your picture it´s perfecta.

nice subject, perfect composition. would be great to do versions with and without the flag, I am sure it would give the feeling that you have mentioned in your note...
