Juscelino Kubitschek Bridge
This audacious and awarded bridge over Paranoá Lake was inaugurated on Dec. 15th, 2002, in Brasília. The project impresses by its functionality and monumental architecture, a hallmark of the Brazilian engineering. With three archs inspired by the movement of a bouncing stone thrown across the surface of a lake, the work is integrated into the architectural vision of Brasília, allying beauty and innovation. The chosen structural form is composed of three archs that prop, by the means of steel stays, the three segments with a span of 240m each. The fact that the archs fit the piers diagonally has generated tridimensional tensions on the foundation, which amounted to the necessity of digging deep into the most stable layers of the heterogeneous soil of Brasília and also building a large foundation. The bridge is an accomplishment of the architect Alexandre Chan, with engineering conducted by Via Dragados and José Celso Contigo.

The second time I am welcoming you to TE! You seem to like your nights. Any sleeping disorders running in the family hahaha ;-).
This is a great shot as well! Brasilia must be so much fun for photography!! I unfortunately do not have any points to give anymore for today, but more important, I can still give you my compliments for this picture!!
Did you use a star-filter of Cokin? I have never seen lights reflecting in this shape. Very nice result.
I myself lived in Manaus for one year, doing research on electricity use by rural inhabitants in the Amazon. That was good fun, but unfortunately I didn't have a very decent camera back then... I'm making up for it now!
Thanks for sharing this nightly beauty!
