Pura Adrenalina

This was shot early in the morning in Porto Seguro. The city was recovering from another night of Carnival. The food and drink stalls of the Alcohol Catwalk were empty. The people are takin´ the bus to work. The only people seen on the street were maintenance personnel of the Prefeitura cleaning the streets. In the WS is a pic of them.
The text on the board is: "beijo na boca" = kiss on the mouth and "lua de mel" = honeymoon (Thanx Isabel for pointing it out!)

Porto Seguro is in Bahia, where we spend the second part of our stay in Brazil with our dear friend Isabel.

PCS2 tech: cropped, altered the saturation, contrast, curves and levels for the whole pic and some elements separately, enhanced the colour- and luminosity edges and surfaces, USM-ed , added a frame and saved for the web.

zeker een aparte foto Bert,
goede kleuren en een fraaie gegeven dat de bus ook nog even voorbij komt, goed fotowerk, prettig weekend.

Hoi Bert,

Zoals ik u heb leren kennen, dit zijn uw geliefkoosde onderwerpen, een combinatie tussen een vast onderwerp en een bewegend beeld in de achtergrond, dit geeft altijd een gevoel van vrijheid en toch zijn de kleuren goed and het beeld aantrekkelijk voor het kijken. Bedankt voor uw bezoek.

Zonnig weekend uit een kurk droog Vlaanderen met een huidige temperatuur van 22,6 ° C en een strakke noorden wind, hou u klaar Bert maandag krijgen we de eerste regen.

Nice to see a new post from you!Always very good work and interesting.No people in your scene in front but you can feel the humans,the noise and the exotic moments of the carnival.I like very much the point you choose and the perspective to till the bus...

Hej Bert,
Slechts een lege colafles is nog over. Een mooie foto van deze lege, maar ook kleurrijke kraampjes. De voorbijkomende bus doet het uitstekend en laat zien dat het gewone leven weer wordt opgepakt. In de WS-foto vind ik de tilt erg goed. Mooi werk! Fijn weekend!

Hi Bert,

An excellent the day after shot. I really enjoy the empty stand with a single bottle filled with water left. The empty bus passing in the background adds a lot of dynamism to your composition. A suberb job. Have a nice weekend you too!

You timed your shot well to capture the moving bus in the background. I like the "after-the-party" atmosphere you captured here in the early morning light. The empty coke bottle plays an important role in the composition. Good work.

Gostei mais da foto do WS, interessante a inclinação da câmera! Agora a Adrenalina dessa foto deve estar na veia do motorisata ou dos passageiros desse ônibus em alta velocidade!

Hi Bert. An interesting backstage impression from the carnival, in which the absence of people provides a good storytelling contrast to the "adrenalina" sign on the food & drink stand. The single water bottle is a good prop, and the motion-blurred bus with the "brasileiro" writing is a well-timed inclusion.

Interesting setting Bert sure signalling something after the night... even if it seems like the sales process is more for the late hours than this morning.. Interesting detail..
