Pelourinho

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Pelourinho is a place that takes the visitor back to a time of riches and ostentation. It is an area that comprises some of Salvador‘ s oldest neighborhoods and shows the city‘ s expansion during the 17th and 18th centuries. It is full of old houses that belonged to government authorities, rich sugar cane plantation owners, and wealthy businessmen.
In Pelourinho, visitors can go to churches, museums, bars and also can see a lot of african culture or take a rest in one of the many bars listening to axe music. |

This picture is really eye catching, the blue sky and pastel buildings leading up to the cross, it's really pleasing to the eye :)
I got a chance to visit this city as well - nice capture capture of this place. I like the clouds and the colors of the buildings. I did a workshop on this with more saturated colors and a slightly different cropping if your interested. Thanks for sharing -

Isso me faz querer voltar a esses locais.
Abraço
Andre
