Photographer’s Note
does not admit subtle tones, coz passion does not choose place, age, time. coz passion is colorful.
seen at the metro, São Judas Station, yesterday afternoon. it was rainy and bitter cold.
i felt better. hope you do, too.
cropped a little bit on the left hand side, to align the border. increased contrast, decreased brightness. added contrasty grains.

Oh dear, a hard note. They do look a little sulking though. And the image is wonderful, the graphic black and strong color areas, the well applied grain, the balance of the seat and the window, the letters - and the human story. I like it!!

What a tender moment...I envy your courage to shoot them! Alhough the grain does fit in that scene I would prefer a little bit less cause the noise in the walls destracts my eyes...It is a great photo!

Very good composition and particularly a good post processing. You take advantage of the photograph and turn it into an artistic expression. The colors and the grain really add to it. Well done.

A great candid shot, Isabelle, I like it very much. The plastic colors and the noise creates a very nice modern art composition. Excellent!!!

The grains make the difference here, but the color composition is splendid as well, very well-functioning colored sections working together to produce a nice result!

Yes I agree, the grains help with this one. Reminds me of the rather harsh environment created by metro trains. Very brave f you shooting this, did they notice?

Olá Isabel, talvez não seja o melhor fotógrafo da gente portuguesa, mas gosto muito desses momentos que tenho captado...
Falando em momentos, fotos como as suas também me dão um imenso prazer !
Belissima foto !

Hi Isabelle, This is nice follow up to your last shot. The grains provide a great graphical impact and indeed caters for some distance to the subject without loosing the passion you're portraying here. Clever device! Your compo is very good with the couple on the right, leaving open, unoccupied space to be explored. Great. Nice note too. Very fine job!

Very nice pic. I like the texture. I would rotate a little from right to left (0,5 or 1 %). Thanks for share Isabel. (I see you are clearly finding your style.)

I like this shot a lot Isabel. The way you have composed it and the post process you have done. It is gritty but soft at the same time. Really great.

Good justification for this image in your note--and it stands up to scrutiny as well. I agree. Grain, grittiness and composition all match this urban love scene.

Nicely done, Isabel, as usual. I'd like to be that experimentative someday, but, I'm more cartesian. You're great.

Thanks for pointing me the link Isabelle. It's a strange thing that subway and public areas finally appeal to loneliness like the loneliest place was into numbers.
Much has been said about and I agree everything works fine here though I wonder how you thought about both saturating and desaturating some colors. cartesian as you claim to be, could you explain why you chose some and not the others...it artistically works but I cannot find the logics behind.

Very touching capture - I can relate to this couple perhaps having a hard time or just relaxing - The blurry look actually necessary to achieve that special kind mood - very fine work Isabel - I like it very much after looking a while :-)

I promess you. Walk inside your gallery it´s like a mirror of the adventure of life, in this case maybe about what is left for me, too personal to explain here. Great one, St. Judas, the perfect station. I also love the postprocessing here. Great moment Isabelle.
