Photographer’s Note
This is the "Largo do Boticario" (Boticario Square) - built in 1831. Its first buildings, in colonial style, were later replaced by residences of ecletic style coming from the end of the XIX century, very peculiar to Old Rio.
This is a very special place to me because my mother was born there!!!
I desaturated the picture to look older, but I posted the original picture (in color) as workshop...

Cette photo est en effet infiniment plus jolie en sépia qu'en couleurs, elle rend à cette immeuble son côté ancien et masque certaines peintures indélicates sur ce genre d'immeuble.

Great, once again. Nice touch with sepia. A pity that easel breaking the atmosphere, all the rest is perefect.
