Lizards in my home Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is a small lizard, very usual inside our homes. It isn't a native especie, they arrived in my town around 1982, I am not sure but I think it came from Africa, who knows how it arrived in Brazil.. It love to eat insects and during colder days it stay protect in some place, it isn't a harmful creature, in southern-Paraná, where eather is colder, it doesn't get to survive. This photo was took in my home, it was under the curtains

Bonjour Jorge,
I had to open that thumbnail because I thought right away of one picture take by a friend, Luko, that you can see here.
I think it would have been better without the dark frame but I like the picture because it must have been taken very quickly and it's nicely observed and achieved...

Hello,
I guess your lizard is a gekko.
That's true it, probably, comes from Africa but I guess there are some species in Central and South America too!
Nice "jurasssic" capture Mr Spielberg!

Jorger, this insect runs with very swift legs. It's not easy though to capture such insect from that distance.
Lizard is found abundantly here in Quetta.And a funny feature of this insect is that it's tail would still show movement after even being cut-off from it's body.
