Photographer’s Note

This was taken on the Igapo Lake at downtown Londrina, where the people use to spend the time walking and running, but also is a good spot for fishing. While walking there I saw this boy trying to get something but it looks was not his luck day.

Hi Ricardo, A good take of the lake in the city. Nice view of the water fountains and the geese on the lake, together with the reflections. It is interesting to see the boy’s efforts in fishing. You have well managed the light to his face.

Olá Ricardo,
Una composición muy bonita y agradable. El muchacho en primer plano pescando nos atrae la mirada, pero detrás suyo hay el lago con unos preciosos reflejos sobre el agua de los elementos del fondo de la imagen, los árboles y las edificaciones.
El chorro de agua y los pájaros en el lago son dos detalles que le añaden gracia a la foto.

Beautiful light and coloured reflections on the lake with the small details of the egrets(?). Your composition to include the boy fishing in corner of the image adds that extra element of interest.

Great thin silhouette, with a soft sunbeam... I like the atmosphere you share here. I suppose it was morning, as the light is soft and even sweet.

Hi Ricardo - the almost silhoetted figure gives excellent balance to the surroundings, I wish the lens was wide enough to include the tops of the trees and buildings across the lake.

I like your last post, but this really attracted my attention. Beautifull capture of this boy in foreground fishing, against the lovely water surface, which is really attractive in its light reflections. The background is also intereting, the composition is very well balanced and perfectly executed. marvellous lighting and colours. Parabéns!

What really catches my attention is the glow that comes out from the water. Its wonderful to have this in the composition. I like your inclusion of the kids and the birds. They all make this place so peaceful and calm. Well done!! Have a nice weekend.
