This shot was also taken over São Paulo city just before landing at Guarulhos airport, but this time in a lower altitude than the previous one.

Wow! Beautiful, crisp, clear shot of the big city. Pray she's not built on a fault line!

The shot is extraordinarily clear and sharp, considering you were shooting through a plane window. I like the incredible amount of detail discernible here, and the red roofed houses nicely provide some contrast to the towering skyscrapers. An exceptional capture from the air, Ricardo. Well done.

A good POV of the high-rise buildings of Sao Paulo, the photo has a good perspective and nice colors.

This is even better than the previous one. Sense of infinity is a little weaker though, but sharpness is oustanding and so many clear details are very interesting. Well done.

Hi Ricardo, closer to the land, this picture has a better view to the city in comparing with your previous post. A nice aerial view over the city. You have nicely control of the shutter speed to result this sharp and clear image from a fast moving airplane.

It's amazing Ricardo, how this urban landscape looks appealing in your photo. The vertical tall buildings from afar looks great. Add to that the great sharpness & clarity you've achieved here

Hi Ricardo - wow, such a cluster of highrises, and the best way to see it all is from above, quite a megalopolis.
riclopes (35577) 2006-05-07 4:39
Another great shot from above. This lower POV is even better than your previous one and the graphic effect of all these skycrapers, under this beautiful lighting is really striking. As if they were pieces of LEGO. Excellent crop for this, indeed, infinite city. I love it. Congratulations!

Hello Ricardo, the plane is getting lower. I can see less of the city but what I see is in more detail. It's incredible how many tower blocks there are in this place.

Esta vez estou com a certeza... O sambódromo na direita, justo na ezquerda dele, o edificio amarelo é o hotel Holiday Inn!
Gosto muito da riqueza de detalhes em sua imagem Ricardo, mesmo que da nitidez e DOF.

an amazing post. i like the infiniteness in your composition. It really looks like an infinite city. Beautiful clear and sharp compo, considering the fact that you have taken it through a plane window.

Amazing details from the sky! I enjoyed the textural display due to the different types of buildings, it's like a wall sculpture. You also have the technical aspects in good control. Well done!! Regards and do have a nice day.

Chegar de avião em São Paulo é sempre uma experiência fantástica... lembro-me da surpresa de uma americana em um vôo vindo de Chicago...
Parabéns pela qualidade... aquela janelinha nem sempre ajuda..

Big panorama of a great city! I think you have had the luck of a very transparent air and the ability to get use of it.

Linda fotografia aérea de São Paulo, Ricardo. Interessante que ficaram dois blocos distintos de prédios.

I'm a big fan of the city scape photos, anything with tall buildings and i'm interested :)
In the top half of the scene, i like how the buildings just seem to continue on for infinity.
the city looks huge!
good ariel shot

You're capturing well this big city by a good angle and excellent clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see abundant skyscrapers under one's view. It's impressive in group of the private houses with red roof next to skyscrapers, too.
Have a nice day.
