Photographer’s Note
Chaplin at Sao Silvestre
Every New Year's Eve (December 31) there is a race in the most important avenue in Sao Paulo - Brazil (Avenida Paulista). Most of people go there to run or watch, but a few go there to appear in TV. To attract TV attention they dress some strange custumes and start to act in the streets.
This year I tryed to capture some of those guys to put here in TrekEarth, I hope you like it.

Hi Jead,
Yes the Silvester corrida of Sao Paulo, one of the most beautiful street run race in the world, 30 year ago was the winner Gaston Roeland a Belgian of my country.
But these Charly Chaplin with are eyes closed can the runners not see.
Lovely contrast between the dark attire and the summer attire of the people in background.
Greetings and best wishes from Belgium Europe!

Muito interessante, Jaed.
Bom momento capturado em meio à São Silvestre, mostrando uma expressão cômica e bem semelhante ao semblante de Chaplin.
Bom 2006 !
Celso
