I want some children in my shot at the moment ;-)

When I was in Paraty, (and Isabel in Sao Paulo), I rented a bike to go out in the mountains, and explore the urban life outside the tourist area a bit. It's so good to be there on your own, and go your own way, and on the bike it's easy to stop everywhere.
On the way back I took a kind of backroad and there were these children, carrying their puppy. In my best Portuguese I asked them if I could take a picture, and showed it to them afterwards. The bigger girl was a bit reluctant, but the other two kids agreed. I like it how they are so different, the girl with the puppy a bit impressed, the boy, with his funny looks, already the pose of a little macho, it seems, with his arms a bit wide, and his shoulders raised, and the older girl, although laughing, yet keeping a little bit more distance.

Just a happy shot, with nice memories of a special day at the countryside of Brasil.
In the workshop another picture of the four.

Hello Rinie,
Très bon double portrait!
J'adore l'expression des 2 enfants du premier plan!
Belle image, superbes teintes !
Cadrage impeccable

Oi, Rinie :D
i remember you saying, smiling and enjoying every moment: 'posso tirar uma fotografia?'
all of them look enchanted, quite probably trapped by that tall woman with hair of flames and blue eyes. the foreigner i am sure they´re not that used to seeing if they do not go to the historical center.

Hi Rinie, I'd like to see the puppy but I don't like to hold it. See what happens to the other kid who were just holding the same puppy :D. Good to get everyone's attention to your lens, including the puppy's attention.
A fun shot of the innocent kids. Good to have the background well depicted. A well taken picture with sharpness and clarity.

I do agree with Isabel, the dog looks great, what a moment Rinie, so spontaneous, so colorful. There´s nothing like to be out of the beaten track to get the reality of place. Great one amiga :-)

Hi Rinie. An adorable group portrait, vivid and colorful. In addition to the three kids' poses that you put so well into your own words in the note, I also enjoy the funny posture of the puppy and the sparkle in the dog's eyes. The WS photo is a nice add to complete the storytelling. Looks indeed like an "unplugged" and hands-on experience of Brazil; very nice.

What a heartwarming shot of these little children, Rinie, described by you with perception and love, taken so spontaneously that it has resulted in this genuine moment! All these children are in love with you, they adore you, no doubt, look at all these faces, so tender, so playful, accepting you as a friend they admire... a very happy and carefree shot, and it does bring me close to the Brasil you visited, surely magical and rich in feeling.

Hello Rinie,
Wonderful how you captured their natural and friendly expression.I think natural and simple picutres like this tell a lot about the country and the people.

Lovely one, Rinie - great expressions and each of the kids is interacting strongly with you and your camera. I really like your note which adds to the story. Beautiful rich colours and nice dof. Nice ws too. What a great trip this must have been!

Astonishing models, full of these great smiles and eyes. A very warm composition from Brasil. Well framed and very well done
I like it

Hi Rinie - very cute, I like the 3 different poses, but the macho pose is the funniest.

Yo Rinie, what a lovely capture indeed, the combination of expressions and emotions is great! The interaction going on is lovely and in a way endearing - the WS reinforces this. The puppy is a funny bonus. It's a great travelshot - telling us the story of you being there in a fine and very personal way.
Have a nice week,
Bert

Your jealousy is showing Rinie... Just because I've been posting all these cute kids in T-shirts basking in the California sun you have to pull out of your collection a photo of sweet-looking kids with tanned arms and bright eyes. Of course, that is much of what traveling is all about, offering an antidote to what often feels a bit more dull at home, so I'm not offended by your choice. Winter is slowly appearing in California so you any photos you see in the near term of bright sun and kids playing will be older photos as well... ;-)

This a sweet, a child and his dog. Remarkable how that relationship can be so precious in so many parts of the world. And you describe the scene well. Thanks for brightening our day.
