Photographer’s Note

I always wanted to create the continued light effect at night of the cars in movement.

So this was my experiment to try to achive that.

I think I done a fine work, considering my camera.

I took this shot from the top a shopping mall.

Hi Gabriel , your night shot is good and the colours are great , it's a pitty the sky is so dark , if you could use a longer exposure time the result cold be better , however a Good job.
I also make night shots if you want take a look at my pics .

Foi o 'Botafogo Praia Shopping' de onde você tirou a foto?
O efeito que você queria lograr esta muito bem, mas eu acho que com mais tempo de exposição, poderiam se ter linhas mais compridas.

Olá Gabriel,
De facto, está bastante boa a experiência. O ambiente da noite está bem conseguido com o movimento dos carros e a luz de cidade a contrastar bem com as zonas não iluminadas. Gosto da composição com a parte superior negra e as luzes do prédio ao fundo a apirar no ar.

Muy buena foto nocturna, los efectos de las luces de los automoviles te salieron muy bien.
Esta muy bien captada. Me gustaria ver un poco menos de cielo, esta muy oscuro, le hubiera cortado un poco para que asi te diera mas realce la parte iluminada. Pero tu foto como quiera que la pongas esta muy buena.

You have achieved a lovely range of colours with this night shot and the movement of the cars has created a nice effect. Have you got a record of your shutter speed? Someone mentioned the darkness of the sky; that would easily be less of an issue with a crop at the top. All-in-all well done.

Fotos nocturnas são sempre dificeis mas você conseguiu passar no exame com uma boa nota. Poosivelemente eu cortaria um pouco a foto na parte superior, mas isso acarrateria problemas de redução. Está muito capturado, com os traços do movimentos dos carros, boa luz e muitas cores.

a nice night shot, full of colors and movement! Give well the sense of the traffic, space and a lot of vegetation. The whole compo is very nice, even if for me the space given to the black sky is a bit too big. ;D)
