Photographer’s Note
Gramado is a small touristic city on the mountains of the south of Brazil. This shot was taken at the roofed street that is one of the most popular place for shopping and for food. On this cafe we can see two wood carved sculpture (or would be three??? ;-), making of some customers.
PS: Sharpened and cropped to reduce size and eliminate some noises.

Interessante Ricardo.
Continue postando, please.
Abraços,
Celso

Hi Ricardo! A very curious place and a very funny picture and note, also...
Good colours and detail, I also like the almost equal position of one of the wood carved sculpture and the human one...

Very funny. That guy seems oblivious of the fact that he is sitting in the same pose as his dummy companion.
lol.
good job on this one!

Great shot Ricardo,
You really had a great idea, on shooting this scene. Very nice composition. It looks that the man is a relative of the statues.
Good one!!

Hi Ricardo,
This is a beautiful composition of an interesting place. It shows the ingenuity of the people there, especially the owner of this shop. Including the customer is a smart decision as it spice up the atmosphere. I guess the other glass of beer is for you? I am also wondering what the metal chair is doing there. Excellent shot!!! Regards.

Great candid shot! Would it not look great in B & W to give the street feeling?

Good framing here. I also like the similarity in the position of the two characters, the false and truth one. Well done.

Excellent composition, Ricardo.
I like the colours in this shot and also the sharpness. This scene could easily take place in Germany!!

Hi Ricardo!
Nice shot here with interesting subjects!
I really like it because of the composition.
Firstly I thought that the sculptures were three and then I realized that the man was alive :)
I like the contrast between the metal chair in the centre and the brown ones.
Good work!

Vesela

Hi Ricardo.
Funny picture and with rich and nice colours. The composition is good, and is right for this one (makes the photo more funny, I think).
Would be better with more sharpness, and, if you can, with a more big size.
Regards from Spain.

Whoever came up with the idea of the "sculptures" worked. It drew my attention, thinking it was a real person on a side street cafe.

Bonjour Ricardo
Very "moody" due to the mannequins and inviting to sit for a beer !
Thanks

this is great. the 'real' guy could almost have been sitting there as a subject for the artist who made the statue! did you know him & ask him to pose like this? or is it just one of those beautiful, rare moments that we're sometimes allowed?
it's a shame that the waiter statue is in the background (nothing you could do about it). i feel he distracts rather than adds to the picture. also the silver chair is slightly out of place, but again there's little control you have over these things, especially if you didn't know the guy & wanted to be more subtle when taking the shot.
good photo: very funny!

Hello Ricardo - this is always a good time for me. It's fascinating to see these life-sized scuptures, it would definitely attract me to this cafe for a drink.

Hello Ricardo! What a wonderful, whimsical photo! Love the poser, colours are rich and happy, and I like the way the real gentleman is more in focus than the figures are. Just a fun shot! Well done! Thank you!

Olá Ricardo,
Outra interessante foto desta rua.
Eventualmente também ficaria interessante só com os bonecos, sem o homem.
"cropped to reduce size"? Você pode reduzir o tamanho sem cortar a foto. A não ser que tenha aproveitado para obter dois resultados com uma única acção.
Francisco
A great photo, as other members said already. It could be also interesting without the real man.

Hi Ricardo.
I didn't realise that the customer was a real person, at first!
He blends in with the sculptures so well. He even seems to have the same hairstyle as the waiter behind him!
Still seems to be lacking a little in sharpness, though, and I do agree with Celso about the chair in the middle at the front being in the way, but this is a good shot, anyway.
Makes a change from statues of Ronald MacDonald!
Regards,
Andrew.

Hi Ricardo,
A good POV of the two wood carved sculptures and the lonely customer. The photo has nice colors and a good composition. It is also sharp and clear.
