Photographer’s Note

This photo is shot a day's trip up from Manaus on Amazon river - somewhere near Parque Nacional do Jau. And definitely not far enough from where the tourists go. So the rivergirls row closer with their pets and offer to take photos with their pets and expect something small in return. Well, I did not take a photo of me with their pets but instead tooka a photo of them in the boat.
The main reason I like this photo is the smile on one of the girls' face. Isn't she lovely?

I had to adjust levels and saturation slightly, because unfortunately I had left the -1,0 EV compensation on from my previous shot. And I was sweating from my face so bad (for heaven's sake - it was almost 40 degrees and freaking humid for an Estonian) I almost couldn't see what I was shooting, let alone the little EV compensation mark on the viewfinder :)

Pleasant composition, Lennart, a little bit symetrical and full of young people. With the note we can understand why pets are in the boats.
What a spontaneity and grace !!.

Great shot! another Amazon picture - great!
I just wish it wasn't so tightly cropped on the top. The girl's expression on the left is priceless.

Dear Lennart, in this photo you show a totally different life style in Brazil. It is very different from most of the photos that you can see on web sites. Yes, the simle is gorgeous and it is funny that one girl has worn almost like in winter while the other is like in summer. Regards...
