The former city market of Paraty, late in the afternoon.
the city of Paraty is like a small museum within a tropical paradise. Its colonial buildings recall the time when it was a major gold shipping port in the XVI century. It is regarded by UNESCO as the most harmonious ensemble of colonial buildings in Brazil. Their rusticity, if compared to the colonial architecture of other towns in Brazil, perfectly matches its location on the beach and makes for a very charming and unique ambience.If there weren´t the traffic sign and the power posts... we couldn´t imagine when the photo was taken..

Retouched with dodge tool. A color balance layer was added, to get warmer tones.

HI Carmen, this is a ^spectacular photo, the colours and lighting really highlight the architectural details, and tghe people walking and playing add a human dimension to it.

1) People walking in the foreground of the building
2) contrast between the building and the clouds
Your photo gives me a feeling that there are many layers in the image ... and all of them have come out very clear becaus of the overcast sky

Legal. Gosto muito de fotos com nuvens contrastando com o azul do céu. Em termos fotográficos não tenho nada a acrescentar, mas preciso dizer que esta é uma daquelas fotos que chamam a atenção em meio a outras. Também gostei muito da Nota da foto, muito informativa, e o que tu falaste sobre a placa e o poste de luz é a mais pura verdade :) Parabéns pelo talento. Abraço.
