Church of Our Lady of Carmo
Its construction took place between 1766 and 1772 and the church was frequented by the aristocracy of Villa Rica. Participated in its ornamentation Aleijadinho, Manoel da Costa Ataide, among other artists. The decoration of this temple shows the elegance of the baroque-rococo period of mining colonial art. His works were bought by José Pereira dos Santos and Manuel Francisco Lisboa, Aleijadinho father of the great master, who was responsible for risk drafted in 1766.

small very picturesque church on the top of the hill is a very interesting subject. The moody colors make this picture a little bit different and despise the sparse light they have been properly saturated. Good composition with the right proportions.
All the best!

Hi Ricardo. Dramatic sky/clouds form a nice backdrop for this lovely church, accentuating its architectural style. Well chosen POV and pleasant composition. Regards. Klaudio.
