The Lagoon of Iriri or Coca-cola as normaly is named is a nice place for bath, with calm water, with only 3m deep and white sand.
Here from this point of view we can see the waves of the close beach named Costa Azul.
In 2000 the region was decreed as an environmental protection area, because it is part of North Fluminense Shore Ecosystems.
An agreement between the Rio das Ostras City and Petrobrás company are helping to protect the biological diversity, ensuring the sustainable use of its natural resources and discipline the process of area use. The Lagoon is part of the watershed that include the Imboassica Lagoon, Salgada Lagoon, Itapebussus Lagoon and Ipuca Lagoon.

1,2,3,4.............shot of beautiful layers, Andre. No doubt the lower part of the shot is of more interest.
Wish you could zoom there, but 18-135 is not good enough for this.
Burn your pockets............and get 100-400mm , the air pump, best for the bird watching.

Like Goodwill above, I love the effect of the layers in this scene. Very nicely composed shot.
All the best

A good demonstration of the fact that water can have such different colours, blue-green outside the reef and another blue hue inside. The persons add interest to this fine picture.
