Série sobre a minha viagem à CHAPADA DOS VEADEIROS - no Estado de GOIÁS - um dos 04 estados da Região CENTRO-OESTE do BRASIL (GOIÁS - GO, TOCANTINS - TO, MATO GROSSO - MT e MATO GROSSO DO SUL - MS) e onde também está o DISTRITO FEDERAL/DF (no qual se localiza BRASÍLIA) - de 17 a 25 de SETEMBRO de 2011 - Nº 009 !

Series on my trip to CHAPADA DOS VEADEIROS/DEER HUNTERS' MOUNTAIN RANGE - In the State of GOIÁS - one of the four states in the MIDDLE-WESTERN Region of BRAZIL (GOIÁS - GO, TOCANTINS - GO, MATO GROSSO - MT and MATO GROSSO DO SUL - MS) and where DISTRITO FEDERAL/FEDERAL DISTRICT is also located (BRASÍLIA is there too) - from September 17th to 25th, 2011 - #009 !

On September 17th, I took a plane (TAM AIRLINES, using miles) and flew from CAMPINAS/SP to BRASÍLIA/DF, where I spent one entire day.

On September 18th, I took a bus (REAL EXPRESSO) and went up north, to the town of ALTO PARAÍSO DE GOIÁS, the gate to CHAPADA DOS VEADEIROS/DEER HUNTERS' MOUNTAIN RANGE, in the northern region of the STATE OF GOIÁS!

On September 21st, I spent most of the day visiting CATARATAS DOS COUROS/LEATHERS WATERFALLS, a series of waterfalls located in the RIO DOS COUROS/LEATHERS RIVER, inside FAZENDA BOA ESPERANÇA/GOOD HOPE FARM!

It runs from the plateaus of the CHAPADA DOS VEADEIROS/DEER HUNTERS' MOUNTAIN RANGE to the plains of the TOCANTINS VALLEY, through deep canyons!

It's around 55 km away from the town of ALTO PARAÍSO DE GOIÁS (20km on a paved road and 35km on an unpaved road) - Good to have a four wheel drive vehicle, but not essential, specially if visiting the place on the dry season!
When the car stops, one still has to walk some 1,5km until one reaches the river and then one starts walking along the river (which is pretty refreshing, once one can stop here and there for some bathing into the waters or under the falls)!

Falls, rapids, beaches, calm waters, lakes and gorges are part of that trekking!

Hola Neyvan,

Vecinos de pais y en las fotos en TE
Interesante nota (la parte personal de treking es muy buena)para una muy buena foto de grandes contrastes, cielo, agua, rocas y plantes
Me gusta la idea de poner a la derecha esos altos pastos para equilibrar y dar mayor realce al colorido
El agua es de una increible transparencia que has logrado captar de forma muy clara

Beautiful place.
You chose a great point of view, because the stone(s)
on the forground strengthens the depth extra.
Also the composition and light management are
very good.

Little advice: watch out for the noice.
Iso 200(or lower)is with a blue sky a better choice.

Hello Ney,
A splendid composition featuring thus very attractive landscape. The image is agreeably balanced and benefits from a lovely warm light. I like the presence of the contrasting reeds in the right foreground. Perfectly presented with superb colours and sharpness. I love those reflections that act as pointers toward the cascades.

Hello Neyvan,

Beautifully secluded place well seen, I love the C shaped space captured in your photo. A wonderful foreground and centrally located waterfall is full of life. Natural rendition of the colours gives us a very realistic feeling associated with this space. It is a kind of place we find in the movies. I love the colours of the rocks, and crystal clear water. Word paradise fits best with this secretive place. Or more like, we would like to keep the place secret because it is so beautiful. Sound of waterfall echoes in our minds. Thank you Neyvan for sharing this stunningly wonderful view.

J'aime beaucoup le point de vue au ras de l'eau, ce qui donne une grande profondeur à ce magnifique paysage qui profite de ces chutes de toute beauté. J'aime la couleur de l'eau et de la pierre.

A beautiful spot in nature, where the different elements play so well together in creating this wonderful scene!
f/11 works well and results in good sharpness in all details, and the fine light renders attractive colours...
And the waterfall is a pleasant weye-catcher..!

Olá Neyvan,
una magnífica descripción de la ruta que seguiste para llegar a esta lugar tan precioso.
Y una magnífica foto para mostrarnos tanta belleza, con la cascada al fondo, sus reflejos sobre el agua, y las piedras en el primer plano, dando una gran profundidad a la imagen.
La gestión de la luz y de los colores es perfecta.
