A test with two filters against the hard lighting: Multi-Coated Cp plus Color Grad ND 0.6 in a RAW converted photography.

Dear Paulo

Your excellent shot is a very good example how to use gradual filters, what I does as well when there are too many stops between the foreground and the background. In your case you have cleverly managed that the sky was not washed out and the clouds remind impressive. The tree in the foreground combined with the mountain range boost DOF, sharpness is fine and the colors are vibrant. Well done

não conheço esse local, mas da pra ver que esse maciço não vai durar muito tempo aí. Pra mim esses filtros são coisa de outra dimensão, mas creio que um ajuste mais elaborado no ACR deicaria essa imagem com cores mais naturais, pelo menos no céu, acho que no HUE do canal azul deixaria ele mais natural, ou artificial mesmo, como são em muitas fotos, hehe.

el encuadre está bien escogido, el árbol oscuro a la derecha en el primer plano atrae la mirada, y el paisaje que nos ofrece es muy bello, con su relieve bien destacado por la luz y las sombras.
El cielo con las nubes está magnífico.

An appreciable and interesting filter which softens the strong lights. I like much this harmony of tons and the framing of your composition with this tree on the right which balances the image. Pretty landscape, thank you Paulo.

Interesting test with the hard lighting .. I think it really helped the sky .. I like the foreground .. I think the mountains are just about right .. perhaps a bit more contrast on them ? .. anyway I think the hard lighting is useful sometimes .. especially to communicate starkness, and power .. such as in this scene .. very nice. take care,
