SOMBRA E ÁGUA FRESCA - A SHADOW AND FRESH WATER - This is a brazilian/portuguese expression that means one wants some relax, some resting... so, if we are sort of stressed... and who aren't nowadays... we say... "Man, I want some "sombra e água fresca"! This picture, taken by the road along which I was traveling on my way from my parents home back to my own's, inspires me to have this sort of feeling! What do you think?

There are TWO other WS photographs:

Hello Ney,
A lovely light to brighten up the landscape to good effect. Minimalist but well conceived composition nicely framed by the tree. Good natural colours and excellent clarity.

You are my near neighbour today!
The tree has framed the scene nicely and its shadow has created a starting point from which to view the rest of the scene.

é mar ao fundo? Bonita foto, gosto sa sombra do primeiro plano suavisou a cor forte do gramado. Segunda foto de São Paulo que vejo hoje que me agrada, pois não mostra só prédio e céu cinza!
