CATARATAS DO IGUAÇU - IGUAÇU/IGUASSU/IGUAZU FALLS - A FERRADURA - THE HORSESHOE - LA HERRADURA - LE FER À CHEVAL - IL FERRO DI CAVALLO - DAS HUFEISEN - Again, in a helicopter, flying over the Iguaçu/Iguassu Falls. The brazilian side is on the bottom left part of this image and the argentine side is on the top right part of it! The horseshoe shaped part of the falls is called "Garganta do Diabo/Garganta del Diablo/Devil's Throat" and it's right in the border of the two Countries! In this picture one can identify in the brazilian side: the road in the Iguaçu National Park, the restaurant and its main falls. One can also see a boat floating into the canyon, taking tourists right close to the falls!

A spectacular overview of these great falls. I like the point of view and the way the image is divided into two distinct halves. Perfect exposure to capture the dynamism of the falling waters. Good natural colours and excellent sharpness. Useful accompanying note to put everything in context.

Bonjour,
belle photo de ces chutes de toutes beauté prise en plongée.
Bel effets de ce brouillard qui remonte du fond de ces chutes et de cette grande netteté de cette rivière qui coule.
Belle verdure qui montre l' endroit en nature et qui donne une jolie diagonale a votre prise.

Wow, verdadeiramente impressionante, Neyvan. Com estou de saída para Buenos Aires, tinha planeado vir aqui, mas se calhar vou-me ficar só pelo sul pois o país é demasiado grande. Não podia haver um maior contraste entre esta maravilha da natureza e a outra lá mais abaixo, glaciar perito moreno. A percepção do todo aqui é espectacular. Fico com a sensação que o lado do brasileiro tem uma melhor vista geral da garganta apesar de no lado argentino se conseguir chegar mais perto. Parabéns pelo trabalho.

Hey Neyvan,

I have to admit the thick forests appeal more to me than the waterfall. Which is not bad at all obviously, but just making a point. :) Naturally, the most impressive thing is the point of view, but the colors and clarity are also very nice.

Hello Neyvan! Wow this is really something, what an amazing view! This must be the chance of a life time to fly over these falls, how impressive, and how well photographed. I know of what I speak sitting in little airplanes every once in a while. Something is always in the way but probably helicopters are very well made for photo flights but I do not complain :))) I might prefer a tiny little bit the vertical format in your ws but I mean what does it really matter, you have seen it, it must be unforgettable. Hello Ney,
a breathtaking view! I think the main value of this photo is that we get an overall view from the whole fall and its surrounding while the trees and the boat help us to feel the real dimensions. I like the colours as well, they seem to be realistic here.

How did you change your name to this funny one? :-) Man, what a picture this is my friend! In my mind when I see any picture of IGUAÇU, I relate it immediately to you. This is a superb aerial shot, with the perspective of the gorge and the thunderous falls creating mists of water. The triangle of lush green forest on the left also adds to the compo. Great shot Ney!

This is an outstanding shot showing the falls from the air. I like seeing the large Iguassu Park area including both Brazil and Argentina. The shot is well composed, with good foreground interest. Clarity and details are excellent. Seeing your picture makes me regret not taking the helicopter ride over the falls.
