Hello my friends!
I've been a little bit busy since before my last travel to USA. You know what happens when we take some days out... so I am sorry to lose many posts from my friends, but I am sure that we will keep in touch ahead in 2009.
This is a photography from last february, and I had my cheap lens working at that time, before it shows that terrible error 99.
Well, it is a scene from Guaratuba's bay, where we usually have beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
I would like to dedicate this post to our friend TAN, now leaving TE. He gave us beautiful views from all around the world for so many time that we will not forget him. Take care, Tan..

Hi Jose,
A work of artistic merit here. I see the long diagonal with large floaters in the foreground and progressively getting smaller as distance takes over to be quite captivating. Good idea and well presented. TFS. Gerald

Mais uma bonita imagem e com o nome bem sugestivo e original..
eu tb tenho estado pouco por aqui mas de vez em quando olho e se possível critico alguma foto.
Esta mantem o padrão "zeca" :) sempre bem focada não só fisicamente mas tb metafisicamente naquilo que facilmente passa despercebido aos olhos menos preparados para se ver o mundo...

Uns vão, outros reaparecem! Preferia que ninguém fosse, mas sabe bem rever quem tem andado desaparecido. Hoje foi-se o Tan, mas reapareceram tu e o Stepan.

A compo/perspectiva é magnífica e a luz e cores absolutamente fabulosas, como só tu sabes produzir e/ou captar. É... O meu homónimo do hemisfério Sul continua em plena forma!

Estava preocupado que não postava mais. Será que tinha acontecido alguma coisa com o Zeca? A viagem à costa oeste dos EUA deve ter rendido ótimas fotos.
Aqui temos uma bela marinha, com excelente enquadramento clássico de grande-angular, inclinado para baixo, de modo a capturar o primeiro plano bem em foco e conduzir nosso olhar até o plano de fundo, no sexto superior. A beleza fica por conta da iluminação, que deita sutis rutilâncias na superfície do mar; do céu, sob cujo véu de nuvens irrompe um clarão de sol alaranjado; e, claro, do tema, inteligentemente capturado em diagonal, embora talvez esse fosse o ângulo mais natural para incluir o barco de qualquer forma. Minha restrição é bem particular, embora incontroversa: a foto está meio escura, sobretudo os meios-tons mais escuros, o que é resultado da exposição correta dos reflexos, muito claros. Com tanto contraste, o ideal seria montar um tripé e fazer bracketing, juntando tudo no photoshop. Além da captura com maior espectro dinâmico, o tripé permitiria registrar um plano de fundo mais em foco, com um f22 ou similar. Depois dê sua opinião sobre a minha marinha capixaba.

Wonderful composition, the beautiful colors of the sky reflected on the water is very well captured, nice view of the large floaters slowly disappearing in the bay. Good POV and frame. You managed very well the light in this magnificent shot. Many friends are leaving TE.

Very good shot! I like the way you used that line of floats to take our eye from the foreground right out toward the distance. Nice shimmering light reflected off the surface of the water too. Beautiful work!

A very dramatic image that is enhanced by the under exposure. Good strong leading line that takes the eye to the sun breaking through the clouds.

Zeca, imagem altissima em qualidade artistica. As cores, a composicao, o trabalho na manipulacao ficou muito bom. Ate parece que essa linha comprida em diagonal da aquele adeus para a sua lente error 99. E ai como vai essa nova que voce adquiriu aqui em SF?

Olá Zeca, notei que o teu próximo post vai ser o nº 400... ;-) Esta foto artística está muito bem conseguida e o título é perfeito para trasmitir o espírito de entre ajuda que a linha de bóias trasmite. a nice composition; definitely 'departing' motive is present in it. i'm kind of 'juggling' would i like the red on the balls play out more vividly or, given the motive, i am actually fine with the subdued saturation.

Hola Jose,

Esta imagen me parece un gran trabajo, supiste ver la mejor perspectiva y utilizaste las boyas para crear una buenísima profundidad, el formato vertical es el correcto, la luz que refleja el agua crea en todo el paisaje una atmósfera muy especial, el momento del día elegido es el mejor para que el trabajo sea aun mejor.
