Overview shot of Sao Paulo city, just before landing at the airport. São Paulo is the biggest city of Brazil and one the biggest of the World. Only the Sao Paulo county has more than 10 millions inhabitants and together with the join cities (metropolitan area), has over 19 millions.

Hi Ricardo, A nice shot of this aerial view of the city. It looks that this is a modernized city judging by the number of tall buildings and wide highways. A nice frame to make an endless feeling. Good PoV and nice sharpness.

I didn't know that a sprawling city shot would look so effective, until I saw this shot Ricardo...it's merges almost to infinity. I like it

Impressive over-view of this huge city. The graphic result is really amazing and I can imagine an abstract painting with this pattern. Great shot, very well composed. Congratulations!

Fascinating and a "little" crowed I would say. Also scary how much people live here and I guess getting more and more. Great photo in any way. Well done.

Hello Ricardo, this city seems to go on forever. It looks like a model - it's difficult to imagine so many buildings on a real scale.
Rossignol (2289) 2006-05-04 17:20
Very impressive cityscape, Ricardo. And remarkable clarity for a shot from an aircraft window, at first sight I thought you'd taken it from atop a mountain. Well titled too - there is no sign of an edge to the massive urban sprawl.

You flew over at a good time of day to get this attractive light. It just goes on and on. You have conveyed the size of this city very well.

barrufeto_77 (28886) 2006-05-22 4:02
Uffffffffff, what a stresfull city!!! I like this view because it has a good sense of depth and transmit the fact that Sao Paolo is really overcrowded.
Andre-H (1271) 2006-05-23 23:22
The title for your photo is perfect; from this angle, this does indeed look like an infinite urban stretch. Good timing and perspective. It's unfortunate that there is some blur, but plane windows are rarely good. Thanks for sharing, I'm trying to get an impression of what this place looks like, and this helps.
rabani (9645) 2006-05-28 5:31
Ricardo, 10 millions walking,in comparison to how much less walking in my country, which is less than 2 millions and off that, less than 10% in the Kota Kinabalu, the state capital city. It takes about probably 6 months before I'd walk all over this city of yours.
Kielia (23581) 2012-04-16 8:12
this city is really a spectacular place and you have captured it very well captured under these difficult conditions. What a mess and what a symphony of colors. A great contribution to this site in it’s best spirit!
