When you leave my house, down the street on the left, you´ll find this parking lot. It´s relatively new and came to attend people who work at the trade center, one block from this place.
It´s a dark place (i would say even scaring) and definitely mysterious.
Rinie knows how much i would like to photgraph it and yesterday, on my way to Largo 13 I got the chance.
I stopped for a moment, clicked without looking to the viewfinder and this is what i got: the man washing the beast.
cropped to get rid of my own shadow, played with levels, curves, erased the plate.
I am ready to be massacrated ;)
thanks beforehand for stopping by.

This looks very arty, maybe TrekLens is also a good place to publish this photo. I like the colors and the contrast between each zone, it looks surreal!

very cool shot; you'll get many points from men ! Maybe my screen is to dark, I can hardly see the guy washing the car. At first, I was seeing woman's legs (i have this thing with hallucinations)but I like those lines, the high contrast, the tilt... well done, again.

Totally cool! This picture is really soooo Isabel. Amazing compo. The legs look great. It's so glary though! I can't decide if i like the glare. But it's nice you're doing work with harsh light. It's so fascinating to me.

My goodness, what a big contrast again! The secret is again in the shadows. It's hard to see what's happening, I almost have to push my nose against the screen. But the viewers (=us) are really invited to look closer, because the legs that are in the sun are so very much intriguing... This is a very daring shot and I like it!

Not looking in the viewfinder is the best approach ;-) it frees you from conventional thinking, I mean would you have done this if you looked through the viewfinder?
Did I mention that the photo is great? well there you are!

Wow, Isabel, yes of course I know how much you liked to take a picture there, but I had expected a bit different one, one from the lights that were there everywhere, although you have beautiful light spots on the floor here as well.
Wow, that car looks agressive with those headlights, as if it can just jump on you. I saw your title and I immediately thought it was THAT picture ;-)
Here in the Netherlands you already have your ;-)

There are no words adequate to do justice to this searingly original work. I LOVE IT, that'S the first thing. Graphically it is very daring, about as daring as anyone can imagine going. Love the strong YELLOW line (zone...limite), and the "best" is eactly that with those feline headlights. Look, don't blush, ok, but oyu're a bt of a GENIUS, ok?

Mais uma foto surpriendente Isabel, você consegue transformar coisas que ninguém daria muita importância em belas imágens cheias de surpresas.
Um grande Abraço

Very beautiful. A strong graphic element, but its got the grit and dirt of real life as well. I have to say, I had the same hallucination as Elise and at first thought the legs belonged to a woman in a red dress! Personally I like the glare a lot, and the very high contrast between the light reflecting off the car and the pitch blackness of the shadows. The tilt is a nice touch. Most of all, it all fits together well into a cohesive image. There are no details that are slightly wrong, or should be a bit more this or a bit less that... just right.

This one is so original Isabel.. i quite love it,,
strong, bold colours and pure graphism.. i especially like the beast's eyes here.. gives the mood exactly. tilt is also working brilliantly..

This is a great example of the your distinctive style. How lucky to find those legs in the shot, almost like a car add. Was that luck?

I love this photo, It has a glossy ad type of feel to it. I love the diagonal line and the strong yellow and reds coming out from the shadows.

This picture could be a publicity for the car.
Very unusual frame. Great colors.
A very very nice work !

There something very captivating in your urbanm graphism here, Isabel. I think the extreme tilt, the bold line and the harsh highlights work very good together as a stage to make this car very menacing. The leg of the owner are an intruiging detail. True to form this one again.
He he I tried your 'shoting from the hip approach' also a few times with the F10, but it doesn't come anyway near this ;-)

This shot is shouting click the thumbnail how can you miss this shot
The line by it self is very strong abstractive
The tilt in it makes it special and gives it kind of movement
The car I find is very good for the shot it makes it more realistic, the red dot( the human, I wonder if its needed)
Well composed and presented

As imaganes estão com forte grafismo, com cores e formas interessantes. Dá até pra fazer propaganda da marca, né?
