Photographer’s Note

watching life go by...

some people watch TV, others prefer to look out the window,
and sometimes we chose to look thru our camera lenses...

i took this photo from my car window, after our TE meeting in São Paulo yesterday: a wonderful colorful lunch organized by Isabelle. Rinie had just arrived from Rotterdam, it was really nice to meet in person!

It is such a grey and drab building yet there is life and living, in it. The colors are very good and I like the rythm of the elements though out as if there is a muted soulful sound playing through your photo.

I really like this photo, the guy in the centre with his wistful, thoughtful look really adds to what would have been a very interesting shot anyway. I love these kind of building textures, and there's some great elements in this, such as the wires in the top left, the shutters, the barred window and the graffiti. Great vision!

Oi Elena, I suddenly saw that this one was from our first meeting, and I think it's a great view, that man just hanging around a bit on a lazy sunday afternoon, the other one, just being visible, (it looks as if he is shaving, the graffiti on the wal, and the dark tone, it all has a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. I like the round window with the bars very much. Very good composition.
