The exaggerated distortion of the wide angle lens produces a really interesting shot. The tall cathedral and the vertical format are just right for this style of shot. The composition is well balanced with the tree to one side of the frame and the lamppost on the other. The people milling about in front of the cathedral bring the shot to life.

Wow, what a great POint of View and use of the wide-angle. The lens distortion is wonderful and the inclusion of the people makes it dynamic and gives us a sense of scale.
