Photographer’s Note
Here a photo of the inside of the Our Lady of Saúde. This was a very dificul photo to take. Most of light of the church was turned off, so the real beauty of the church was not well shown here. I used the church bench as a tripod but the bench has wax and the camera was slipping.
See the workshop for a closer view of the altar. The outside view you can see here: Our Layd of Saude Church.

It was the priest Pedro Álvares de Santa Teresa who continued the inside construction of the church. He took care of the stairs of the altar, the painting inside, made by the spanish artist Emilio Sola, and the placement of 22 angels, painted by Hetore Moretti, at the columns.
In 1942 has started the process of decoration giving special attention to the altars of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of Consolata (patron of the Recoleta Augustinian Order). The alta was erected in marble by Dominic Severino.
From monk Pedro idea the columns and part of the internal walls was coated with marble. The insertion of images of Saint Peter and Saint Paul on the entry of the church and the construction of the pulpits were made by him too.

Dear Andre,
Great, that you take us into the church...Beautiful ornate sight, really. I counted on this after the church's exterior. The composition of the photo is spectacular, the soft lights provide ethereal mood to the church. Beautiful shot. Tfs! Have a nice day, my friend!

E o destaque do altar-mor iluminado ficou excelente.
Parabéns!
Não entendi a localização... Rio de Janeiro - São Paulo???

Andre,
I like the atmosphere you convey here, the feeling of contemplation in the dark interior!
But in front is the light, giving dynamics and depth to the composition...
Well framed with attractive warm colours!

André,
gostei muito da boa luminosidade da foto, além da ótima nitidez pelo 1 seg.
Os detalhes da igreja são um espetáculo à parte.
Grande abraço e ótima semana,
Wagner.
