Photographer’s Note

Paraibuna has their linked origins to pioneers of the century XVII, and to the first sesmaria donated in their lands in 1773, founded by the governor of São Luiz of Paraitinga, Manuel Antônio of Carvalho, that started to control the two nuclei. It receives the town title in 1832, with the name of Santo Antônio of Paraibuna and, in 1857 it was already city.

He/she begins growing in the half of the century XIX, with the culture of coffee. With the construction of the dams of CESP (Energy Company of São Paulo), the city looks for new possibilities, with the use of the dam for several activities. And in the days today, Paraibuna is looking for new alternatives for his/her development, mainly with activities as the Tourism Rural, Ecological, Nautical, Gastronomical and Historical.
• Paraibuna is placed in the High of Paraíba in the scarp of the Mountain of the Sea.
• Latitude: 23rd 26' 15" S
• Longitude: 45th 41' 15" W

Hi Sergio.
This is a very nice capture. The detail and color is very well captured.
I would suggest cropping of either the top or bottom, preferably the bottom as it is less interesting than the top. This will shift the focus of the viewer to look towards what you want .

Gostei muito da iluminação desta foto, com o sol caindo sobre os pequenos morros ao fundo, que assim se destacam e conferem belo colorido á foto. A placidez das águas com as nuvens refletidas aconchega-nos os olhos..
